Born in Johannesburg a year after South Africa's transition into democracy, Stephanie has always found herself contemplating if that which is ought to be. This contemplation comes in many forms but the most prevalent would be through socially engaging events as well as her meditative, repetitive art-making process.
Stephanie has managed a variety of professional projects from concept through to completion in both the marketing and events industries. Having worked in an agency setting as well as a contractor she has the experience and abilities to work with cross-functional teams to bring a vision to life. She has managed social media campaigns, OOH localisation & implementation, video productions, product launches, international conferences and more. She currently works as a creative project manager remotely, running the production & implementation of visual marketing elements and acting as the client-facing arm of her creative projects.
Stephanie has been hosting private, intimate events since her days at university - bringing together her broader community in the name of art. After facilitating cultural events at GUS gallery in Stellenbosch she started That Eclectic, a creative collective that hosts weird and wonderful gatherings - from short film & poetry nights to festival stages. That Eclectic has since gone on to start an online magazine, radio station, creative agency & kombucha business.
