artist statement
SPACE IS TO BE DECORATED WITH ART, TIME IS TO DECORATED WITH MUSIC AND LIFE IS TO BE DECORATED WITH EVENTS.
Within my visual practice, I am deeply interested in the cosmological patterns that appear to govern the movements of the universe. These patterns can be seen as a mapping of both an internal and external landscape. Therefore, contemplating themes of connection, energy and consciousness. Notions of time through labour is a key feature of my work and speak to the stupefying banality of the quest for truth.
Within my events, I aim to highlight the vibrations that connect and move us through various spaces. I try to encourage creative interaction and experimentation at these gatherings in hopes of fostering critical thinking and creative freedom.
